MTV Cribs*: Critical Theory Edition

If years wasted watching MTV has taught me anything, it’s that I should have an irrational desire to gaze into the abodes of otherwise uninteresting celebrities. Nietzsche’s Uber Summer Vacay Spot

Nietzsche lived in this Swiss house during the summers of 1881 and 1883-1888, according to infallible source Wikipedia. He rented a room on the first floor and worked on some of his raddest books including “Beyond Good and Evil”, “On the Genealogy of Morals”, “Twilight of the Idols” and “The Antichrist”.

The house has since been converted into a Nietzsche museum.

Check out that sweet dumpster full of rocks.

Venture inside to where the magic happens. Writing magic, that is. Nietzsche was famously inept at courting women.
